We are transforming from an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) company to a Platform as a Service (PaaS) company with the release of Orka (Orchestration with Kubernetes on Apple). This product simplifies the development process on Apple hardware and allows for consistent, effective, agile build environment for the enterprise.

 

We are seeking a Product Manager - Software Solutions responsible for developing, implementing and expanding the Orka product line. This position works closely with members of engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure continuity in product offering and company goals. You will lead the scrum meetings, groom and prioritize the backlog, and set the vision and roadmap.

 

As this product is developer focused, someone with a strong understanding or experience with DevOps and/or cloud solutions will excel; however, anyone with a customer focused mindset who can understand our customers (developers) will also  be successful.

 

This full-time position is located in our Headquarters located at Piedmont Center in Buckhead.
 

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for delivery of product and its features
  • Provide the vision and direction for the development team and stakeholders
  • Run all scrum meetings and establish best practices for Agile development
  • Help to define vision and strategy for product line
  • Prioritize and define roadmap and backlog for product line
  • Create features, user stories, and acceptance criteria with the development team
  • Mitigate risks and impediments for successful sprints
  • Analyze and research the market, customers, competitors, and industry to define the roadmap for the product
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and trends
  • Identify and track metrics linked to product success
  • Manage and communicate sales information and product changes both internally and externally
  • Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information

What Skills and Experience you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Information technology
  • 2+ years of technical product management / owner / Scrum experience  
  • Cloud or SaaS product development experience preferred
  • Experience with DevOps practices
  • Agile certification (PMI-ACP, SCM, CSPO, etc.)  preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience creating roadmaps, business cases, and managing the execution on product initiatives through the entire SDLC
