Developer Relations
What we need:
We are looking for our first in-house Developer Relations professional that will be instrumental in nurturing relationships between MacStadium and our customers. This role will educate developers about our technology, provide technical support, and create a community around our product.
This position reports to the Chief Product Officer and preferred location for this role is in Atlanta, GA.
MacStadium's current U.S. office locations are in Atlanta, GA and Las Vegas, NV. While it is ideal to have this position located in close proximity to one of our offices, we are open to filling the role remotely outside of the states of Georgia and Nevada (within the United States) for the right candidate. For remote applicants outside of Eastern time zone, working hours will coincide with Eastern time zone hours.
What you will be doing:
Content Creation
- Develop how-to guides, tutorials, and other technical content across blogs, documentation, and videos/webinars.
- Create sample projects and code snippets using our CLIs, SDKs, and APIs.
- Identify and actively participate in relevant online communities, with an authentic and credible presence to drive awareness and preference for MacStadium.
- Attend and contribute to local meetups and user groups to further establish connections in the Apple dev and DevOps community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are reflected in product development and support efforts.
- Provide a voice for the user by gathering feedback, identifying usability improvements, and advocating for feature enhancements.
- 1-5 years iOS or macOS Developer or DevOps-related experience
- Some experience in Developer Relations, Evangelism, Technical Documentation or Marketing, such as writing blog posts, authoring documentation, creating tutorials, speaking at meetups, or engaging with developer communities.
- Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative guides, tutorials, and blog posts.
- Engagement in developer communities within Stack Overflow, GitHub, Twitter/X, Discord, etc. demonstrating an authentic and credible presence.
- Public speaking or presentation experience at meetups, webinars, or conferences.
- Passion for engaging with developers, understanding their challenges, and advocating for them internally.
- Open-source contributions or experience maintaining technical documentation.
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling relevant to Apple development (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, containerization, Orka, Fastlane)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, virtualization, or remote Mac infrastructure (e.g., MacStadium, AWS EC2 Mac instances).
- Basic knowledge of video editing and webinar presentation tools (e.g., OBS, ScreenFlow, Zoom Webinars).

For California, Colorado, and Illinois applicants, the compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000.
