What we need:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to assist in our company-wide financial planning and analysis function. This role will be responsible for the full financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will ensure future projections are in compliance with lender covenants, providing accurate and timely financial insights to maintain our financial health. In addition, this role requires strong Excel modeling skills, a deep understanding of financial statements and their inner workings, and extreme attention to detail.

Reporting to the Director, Finance, this role is highly preferred to be located in Atlanta, GA. We are open to remote candidates, with occasional travel required for in-office meetings at our headquarters located in Buckhead in Atlanta, GA.

MacStadium's current U.S. office locations are in Atlanta, GA and Las Vegas, NV. While it is ideal to have this position located in close proximity to one of our offices, we are open to filling the role remotely outside of the states of GA and NV (within the United States), specifically applicants in the following states: IN, TN, TX, NC, UT, WI, MO, MS, CA, MA, IL, and CO for the right candidate.

What you will be doing:
  • Oversee the company-wide annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with lender covenants, proactively identifying potential risks and solutions.
  • Develop complex financial models to assess business performance, KPI’s, cash flow, and capital requirements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with executives and department leaders to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process, update forecast with actuals, and perform variance analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly Board presentation.
What skills and experience you need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in company-wide financial planning and analysis.
  • Smaller company or start-up company experience is a plus ($25m-$100m ARR).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interactions, forecasting techniques, and covenant compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, including, but not limited to, Adjusted EBITDA and net leverage ratios.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial and accounting software applications, such as NetSuite.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

For California, Colorado, and Illinois applicants, the compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000.
